About the race
The Demi-marathon de l'Acadie in Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, is scheduled for October 4, 2026. The course was revised in 2026 because the Snowball Bridge closed; the new route is two loops that start and finish at Piscine S.A. Dionne, 4216 rue Hall. Registered runners for the two distances start on the same start line.

Registration is available online only; race day registration is not offered. Entry fees are listed in Canadian dollars and are non refundable. The event is not a certified course. The race was established in 2026.
A monthly edition takes place on the first Sunday of every month, with the 10.55 km option added starting May 2026. Runners who expect to take more than 2 hours 20 minutes to complete the half marathon may request an early start by informing the race director the day before the race. Virtual participants must send a selfie showing their watch with time and distance to the race director by the Sunday of the in person race.
Awards are given to the first three overall finishers and the first three women in each distance with gold, silver and bronze medals. Medals are presented on the second floor of Piscine S.A. Dionne after the race where a meal is served to participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
