About the race
Courir pour ELLES is a charity running event held on October 18, 2026 at the Village Historique Acadien in Bertrand, New Brunswick. The main distance is 5 km, run as two loops on the heritage village trails for a total of 5 km on an unpaved surface. The course is not certified and the event was established in 2026.
Online registration is open and race day registration is not available. The entry fee is CAD 30 per registrant and all fees are nonrefundable. This is the first charity race organized by the runHERs running club in collaboration with the Village Historique Acadien. All profits will be given to an organization that assists women; further details are to be announced.
Awards include medals for the top three women and top three men. Participants can expect participation prizes, some surprises, and on-site music, snacks and coffee. Strollers and animals are not permitted during the race. After the event, the site is available for walking with family, friends or pets.
