NSRF Strawberry Fest 5K & 5M Forest Park
The event takes place in Forest Park, Queens, and includes community running options and a free Kiddie Fun Run. Registration will open ahead of the event date. The event supports the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises awareness, fosters community involvement, and supports athlete development.
Distances offered:
- 5K: Out & back 0.3 miles, then one out & back loop
- 5 Miler: Out & back repeated twice
The course is certified. Runners must cross the finish mats on each loop for accurate split times and synchronized photos. An informal bag check is provided but the organizer does not accept responsibility for personal belongings. Restrooms are within a short walk of the start and finish, and hydration is provided at the finish area. Food and drink refreshments are provided by event sponsors.
A virtual participation option is available; virtual entrants have the first day of the event plus a full week to log a time and upload up to five photos. Bibs can be mailed for a fee if registration occurs at least ten days before the event; in-person bib pickup is available on race day.
