Main Street Mile

The Main Street Mile takes place in Farmingdale, New York, featuring a course that runs directly down Main Street. This event is held on a USATF certified 1 mile course, allowing participants to track their performance on an officially measured route. The race serves as a fundraiser for Companions In Courage, an organization that constructs interactive playrooms in children's hospitals across North America.

The event includes a post-race gathering hosted at The Tap Room in Farmingdale to support the charity mission. Entry into the party provides participants with a buffet lunch and soft drinks. The celebration also features live music from the SpiTunes, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle with various prizes available.
