Last Bash at the Beach 5K & 10K
This event offers road race distances run on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk on a certified course. Two race formats are available:
- 5K out and back
- 10K two loops
The 10K requires runners to pass through the timing mats on each loop for accurate split times. Hydration is provided at the finish line and at the turnaround, with public water fountains on the boardwalk approximately every quarter mile and one volunteer water stop at the 5K turnaround. Bathrooms are available within a few minutes' walk from the start and finish and also on the course.
Event amenities include an informal bag check area and finish refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Participants who register early may receive a personalized bib; in-person bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event. Bib mailing is offered for a fee to those who register within the specified advance window. Guidelines ask that bibs be worn mid-torso, visible and secured in all four corners for accurate reads.
There are no physical awards; online age-group standings and top overall placements will be posted and communicated by text or email. Live online results and same-day finish line photos are provided. Nearby street parking is available and public transportation is encouraged. A portion of proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation.
