Last Bash at the Beach 5K & 10K
The Last Bash at the Beach is a road race held at Rockaway Beach Playground in Far Rockaway, NY on September 6, 2026. The event is staged on a certified Rockaway Beach boardwalk route and offers both in-person and virtual participation.

- 5K Out and back course
- 10K Two loops; runners must cross the finish mats each loop for accurate split times
On-course and venue amenities include public bathrooms within a few minutes walk of the start and finish, public water fountains along the boardwalk about every quarter mile, a volunteer water stop at the 5K turnaround, hydration at the finish line, and refreshments provided by event partners. An informal bag check area will be available in the staging area; organizers do not assume responsibility for personal belongings.
Registration is available for in-person and virtual entries, with options to have a bib mailed to participants for an additional fee. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Results and age group standings will be posted online and can be sent by text or email; there are no physical awards, but online recognition will list top finishers overall and by age groups including many standard age categories.
Nearby street parking is available and public transportation is encouraged. A portion of the event benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
