Last Bash at the Beach 5K & 10K
The event takes place on September 6, 2026 at Rockaway Beach Playground in Far Rockaway, NY. It offers in-person and virtual race options on a certified boardwalk route that follows the Rockaway Beach boardwalk. The in-person course includes an out-and-back 5K and a two-loop 10K.

Participants receive a race t-shirt option and finish-line refreshments supplied by All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water. Hydration is available at the finish and at the 5K turnaround; public water fountains are on the boardwalk approximately every quarter mile. Bathrooms are located within a few minutes walk from the start and finish. An informal bag check area is provided; the organizer does not assume responsibility for belongings.
Registration includes options such as bib mailing for an additional fee and purchase protection for an extra cost. Fees are non-refundable and registration terms require agreement to standard waivers and release of liability. Results are posted online with live updates, and age group standings will be published without physical awards. A portion of event proceeds benefits the Never Stop Running Foundation.
