About the race
The C.ex Group Coffs Harbour Running Festival is a community running event held at Coffs Harbour Showground, 123 Pacific Highway, Coffs Harbour. The Festival is organised by the Rotary Club of Coffs Harbour and directs funds raised to local charities and community organisations. Since 2011 the Festival has returned more than $500,000 to the community, with more than $90,000 raised in 2025 and a stated 2026 goal of returning over $100,000.
Multiple distances run on the same day, with start and finish at the Showground. Distances include:
- Marathon 42.2 km
- Half Marathon 21.1 km
- 10 km Fun Run
- 5 km Fun Run/Walk
- 3 km Fun Run/Walk
- 1 km Kids Fun Run/Walk
Course support and amenities vary by distance. The marathon has 15 water stations including 6 full aid stations; the half marathon has 5 water stations including 2 full aid stations; shorter distances have fewer water stations and the 1 km has no water station. Medals are offered to all finishers; children in the 1 km receive medals while accompanying adults do not. Bib collection is at the Showground on the day before and on race day during specified times.
