Run Barns Green
Run Barns Green is a festival of running held near Horsham in West Sussex. The event features multiple races for adults and children, held on closed roads through the West Sussex countryside and passing through Christ’s Hospital school.
Distances include:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Jennings Junior Jog (Kids Colour Run)
The event provides route support including water stations on the half marathon and 10K, distance markers, marshals and local spectator support. Live music plays at the start and finish, with additional bands and music positioned along the routes.
Race services include chip timing, designated pacers and medals for all finishers. Organisers offer free parking across three large car parks at Barns Green Village Hall. A professional warm-up is provided before the races.
Run Barns Green began in 1982 and attracted just over one thousand runners in its first year. The event is organised entirely by volunteers and in 2026 officially supports St Catherine’s Hospice.
