Phoenix Tri Aquathlon Series
The Phoenix Tri Aquathlon Series is a multi-race event for children, youth and adults held at Guildford Lido and in Stoke Park. Races take place on a flat, fast circuit with a swim in the open-air 50 m lido pool and a run around the traffic-free perimeter of Stoke Park. Guildford Lido is heated to 24°C in summer months.
Races are organised by age group: Tristar categories for ages 8 to 14, a youth and junior category for ages 15 to 19, and an adult category for ages 20 and over. The adult swim uses a staggered start after the children’s races. The children’s swim starts from one end of the pool with a timer and an assistant, and children exit straight to a dedicated transition area where no adults are permitted. The adult transition area is at the opposite end of the lido.
The run routes are fully marshalled. Adult runners follow a tarmac route from the main lido car park through Stoke Park alongside the Parkway. Children follow a shorter route from the lido exit along the Parkway with marshals at each turnaround point.
Race dates in 2026 are 12 June, 10 July and 4 September. A discount is offered for entrants who enter all three races.

- Tristar Start (8 yrs): 50m swim, 600m run
- Tristar 1 (9–10 yrs): 150m swim, 1.5km run
- Tristar 2 (11–12 yrs): 200m swim, 2km run
- Tristar 3 (13–14 yrs): 300m swim, 3km run
- Youth/Junior (15–19 yrs): 500m swim, 5km run
- Adults (20 yrs+): 500m swim, 5km run
