A guided 9 km circular hike from Fairy Knowe Hotel gains about 70m on trails through forest and along the Touw River. Walkers must carry a required emergency kit and can follow the hike with a calm canoe on the river.

The Fun Run/Walk is a marked mountain trail of 5 km at Herold Wines with Craddock Peak as backdrop. Dogs on leashes are welcome and a shared start/finish area provides refueling though there is no water station on the route.
Walkers can choose a 7 km fun walk at Libertas Guest Farm in Wilderness, Western Cape, on farm trail terrain. The route has about 131 m ascent and there is also a 10 km trail run option alongside the event.
