Huntsville Half & 10k
The Huntsville Half & 10k take place on October 18, 2026 at Bowers Stadium on the campus of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas (620 Bowers Blvd, 77340). Both races use much of the traditional course and run concurrently on the same route.
Distances
- 13.1 miles two loops of the course.
- 6.2 miles one loop with a slightly earlier turn-around on the out-and-back section.
Both races start and finish at Bowers Stadium. The half-marathon consists of two laps of the course while the 10k follows the same loop once with an earlier turn-around on the out-and-back portion. Registration windows and fees are noted separately for each event: the half opens registration on June 26, 2026 (fee $69.00) and the 10k opens registration on June 24, 2026 (fee $45.00); both close registration on August 17, 2026.
The event can serve as a tune-up for runners preparing for the Chevron Houston Marathon or as a standalone half-marathon or 10k on the specified date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
