About the race
The Longest Day Run is a community 5K and 10K event held on June 19, 2027, at Old Mill Park, 5 East State Street, Geneva, IL 60134. The course is closed to traffic and described as scenic. Results are chip timed and finishers receive medals; age group awards are given for both distances. Registration options include packages with a race shirt, custom finisher medal, and access to the post-race food tent.
On-site offerings at the finish area include cinnamon rolls, coffee, music, and a post-race celebration. All participants are entered into a raffle for Goodr sunglasses. There is an option to participate virtually. Virtual participants may complete their distance between June 13 and June 19, 2027, and event SWAG for virtual entries will be shipped the week of June 19.
Virtual results can be recorded with a tracking app or submitted manually to the race results system. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2027 at Dick Pond Athletics in St. Charles, IL. Race day packet pickup is available at Old Mill Park. Volunteers support event operations and a fundraising component is listed for teams and participants.
