About the race
Run Havoc Wollongong Running Festival 2027 is a road and trail running event held at Lang Park on Marine Drive in Wollongong, NSW, on Sunday 6 June 2027. Race Hub Australia is the event owner and delivery partner for 2027.
The event offers measured and officially timed courses with multiple distance options:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km Fun Run
- 2 km Kids Fun Run
Event facilities and services include a festival village with live music and sponsor giveaways, cheer squads along the course, a themed finisher medal for all finishers, post-race snacks, and an online finisher’s certificate. The course combines trail and coastal paths and is described as providing ocean views.
Volunteer roles are available and include complimentary Race Hub Australia merchandise, entry to a future race (to a value of $60), and a post-event breakfast for volunteers.
Entry management and refunds follow published rules: entries can be transferred to another person or to a different distance up to three days before the event for a $15 administration fee; refunds are available on a sliding scale (75% up to six weeks before the event, 50% between four and six weeks, 25% between two and four weeks, and no refunds within two weeks). The event may be postponed or cancelled under certain conditions and entries will be automatically transferred to a rescheduled date where possible.
