Coastal Classic Trail Run
The Coastal Classic is a trail running event held in the Royal National Park, NSW. The course follows the coastline from Otford to Bundeena. This point-to-point race allows participants to traverse the iconic Coast Track within the national park.
The course features a variety of terrain types including:
- 30 km trail course
- Rocky terrain and sand running
- Beach sections and cliff-tops
- Bushland and rainforest paths
- Steep hill inclines
The race provides participants with coastal views from the beach and high cliff-top vantage points. The event has a long history in the local trail running scene and is open to both first-time trail runners and experienced athletes.
Registration for the event typically opens in April. On the day of the race, participants can collect their race bibs from the registration area starting from 7:15 am.
