Bay Breeze - Race information
Bay Breeze is a road race at San Leandro Marina Park on February 13, 2027 offering three distances. The event features a half marathon, a 10K and a 5K. Walkers are welcome.
All participants receive custom finisher medals and custom shirts, with both cotton and technical shirt options available. Races are professionally timed with bib-tag (chip) timing. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in five-year age categories, with fewer categories for younger ages.
A Hiker Division is available for half marathon participants who plan to hike the course and take longer than the half marathon time limit. Hikers will be listed as official finishers in the Hiker Division and will receive finisher medals, but they are not eligible for overall or age group awards. Hikers are advised to carry water because the first and second aid stations may not be fully operational depending on hiking pace.
Course maps are provided for each distance. The half marathon has a 4.5 hour course time limit and runners must reach the fourth aid station (mile 10) within the time limit. Water stations are described as fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels and candy. Approximate water station locations are: 5K mile 1.25; 10K miles 1.5, 2.9, 3.25 and 4.68; half marathon miles 1.5, 2.9, 6.5, 10.2 and 11.6.
