Footprints in the snow 2026
Footprints in the snow 2026 is the second edition of a Christmas 5 km run or walk held in Nottingham on 20 December 2026. The event is hosted by DOrunning with SMD Active Together and uses a signposted river route with marshals. The race village is located inside the Big Shed at the Trent Navigation on Meadow Lane, a few yards from the start and finish area.
A donation from every entry will go to Footprints Conductive Education Centre. Organisers will also collect food donations on the day for the Bestwood and Bulwell Food Bank. The event provides an event t-shirt, an official finishing time, a goody bag and a mince pie. Hot refreshments, toilet facilities and a secure bag drop are available at the venue. Free parking is listed as available.
The event notes that under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Prizes are planned for the top three male and female finishers. A virtual Footprints in the Snow option is indicated as coming soon for 2026. The listed refund policy allows refunds up to seven days before the event.
