Wiregrass Turkey Trot
The Wiregrass Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026, at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, Florida. The event includes multiple race options and family-oriented activities.

- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (400 yards)
All registered participants receive a chip-timed race bib, a finisher's medal, and a commemorative shirt while supplies last. Shirts are first come, first served at packet pickup and sizes are guaranteed only for requests made before 2026-11-01; choosing no shirt is treated as a donation and does not reduce the registration fee.
The 5K and 1-mile events require participants to be at least 5 years old; any child 4 years or younger must remain in a stroller if accompanying a parent or guardian during the 5K. The Kids Dash is bracketed by age groups 2–4, 5–6, 7–9, and 10–12. Children registered for the 5K may also participate in the Kids Dash.
Additional event features include awards, a costume contest with prizes for first through third places, music along the route, selfie stations, turkey trophies, and a post-race gathering. The Rotary Club of New Tampa is the event founding host and AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is associated with the event.
