About the race
Race #4 Cleland National Park takes place at Cleland National Park on Mount Lofty Summit Road in Crafers, South Australia. The event uses a network of native trails that pass through woodlands, forests, perched swamps and creeks, and offers views across the Adelaide Hills. Native wildlife is commonly seen on course, including kangaroos and koalas.
Distances offered:
- 21 km long course (UTMB Index and ITRA National Challenge event)
- 16 km medium course
- 9 km short course
- Kids cross-country approximately 1–1.5 km
Race support includes drink stations supplying water and lollies (participants must bring their own drinking container), on-course nutrition, medals for placegetters, and post-race food including fruit and chocolate brownies. There is a member-only random draw and sponsor tents with running and outdoor gear. A quick massage service is available.
Entry notes: kids under 15 pay half standard fees, late entries are not accepted, and name-on-bib deadlines apply. Parking may be restricted depending on entry numbers; detailed parking instructions are provided in the race briefing. Routes and maps are subject to change; competitors are advised to download course information shortly before the event. All runners and walkers must adhere to course cutoffs and stay ahead of sweepers to avoid being recorded as did not finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
