River Torrens Running Festival
The River Torrens Running Festival takes place on Sunday 6 September 2026 at Drage Reserve in Felixstow, South Australia. The event offers multiple distances along shared paths beside the River Torrens.

The course is described as flat and fast, following the paths along the river and providing river views. All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a themed medal, post-race snacks, sponsor giveaways, and a finisher’s certificate. A photographer will be present on course and images will be posted after the race.
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at involving children; an accompanying adult can run for an additional $10 but will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km events. The half marathon has a cut-off time of 3.5 hours.
Drage Reserve includes an on-site car park and nearby street parking. The reserve is located about 10 to 15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Several Adelaide Metro bus routes serve the nearby Linear Park area, including routes 174, 176, and 281. Participants should be aware there will be other pedestrians and cyclists on the paths and are advised to pay attention to their surroundings.
