River Torrens Running Festival
The River Torrens Running Festival takes place on Sunday 6 September 2026 at Drage Reserve in Felixstow, SA 5070. The event offers multiple race distances along the River Torrens with a flat, fast course on shared paths.

All distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia. Finishers receive a themed medal, a finisher’s certificate, post-race snacks, and sponsor giveaways. A prize-giving ceremony is part of the event program.
Drage Reserve sits on Riverside Drive and is about 10–15 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. A car park is available at the reserve, with additional parking on surrounding residential streets. Several Adelaide Metro bus routes (174, 176, 281) provide access near the event village.
The 2 km Family Dash is aimed at youngsters; an accompanying adult may run for an additional $10. The accompanying adult will not be timed and will not receive a finisher’s medal. There are no cut-off times for the 2 km, 5 km, or 10 km. The Half Marathon has a cut-off time of 3.5 hours.
Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks before race day. A photographer will be on course. Organisers note there will be other pedestrians, cyclists, and dogs on the paths and advise participants to pay attention and avoid using earphones.
