Stanley Park 10K - Blackpool
The Stanley Park 10 km is a two-lap road race around Stanley Park in Blackpool. The course is described as flat and accurately measured, with chip timing and free event photography provided. The event is scheduled for Sunday 21 February 2027.
Event headquarters are within the park just off East Park Drive at the Sports Centre (FY3 9HQ). Parking is available at the Sports Centre and at a large car park inside the park; these are Pay and Display facilities. Registration and bib collection take place at the event HQ on race day; participants should bring their confirmation or payment receipt for collection. Baggage storage is located next to the bib collection points and a key drop facility is available using the provided envelope system.
A fully staffed water station supplies 500 ml bottled water at the halfway point, with bins approximately 100 metres after the station; water is also supplied at the finish. Remote Medical Services provide on-course medical cover. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, drinks and snacks. Individual prizes are awarded for top male and female finishers and for veteran age categories; winners receive vouchers issued by email the week after the event.
Entries are open to runners aged 15 or over on race day. Standard entry fees and UKA affiliated rates are listed as £26.50 and £24.50 respectively. Online registration accepts major debit and credit cards and places are limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
