About the race
The Cattle Creepy 10 km is a Halloween themed night run held on Thursday 29 October 2026 in the parklands of north Milton Keynes. The route follows traffic-free riverside trails and is a single lap that passes through the low and narrow Cattle Creep tunnel beneath the Grand Union Canal. The tunnel requires runners to duck or hunch to pass through; inflatable costumes are not permitted and organisers advise passing with hands on the head to avoid clipping the tunnel.
The event is canicross friendly and well behaved dogs on leads are allowed. Head torches are required for all participants. The race features on-course water, fully marked routes, marshal and medical support, chip timing with online results, professional photography, finish line goodies and an interlocking medal for finishers. Race packs are collected at the registration area and entry transfers are permitted up to race day.
The event base is the picnic area adjacent to Watermill Lane car park, Watermill Lane, Milton Keynes MK12 5NZ. There is no parking on Watermill Lane; nearby car parks are a short walk from the venue and include several Stony Stratford car parks and Market Square car parks.
