Wild Christmas Charity Run
This is an annual charity trail event supporting the Hospice of St Francis, with all profits from the event donated to the hospice. The organisers provide run and walk leaders for guided routes and offer trail running tips during the event.

- 4 km guided family friendly walk
- 8 km guided trail run with local trail sections
The event is open to all ages and abilities; children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs are allowed but must use canicross equipment, be kept on lead when required, and places for dogs are limited. Fancy dress is optional and there is a prize for the best costume. Every entry includes a mince pie; hot drinks including mulled wine are available to purchase on site.
Location details list Church Farm Cafe, Aldbury as the meeting place. There is free on-site parking and the start is approximately a 15 minute walk from the nearby station. Facilities include a cafe, toilets and bag drop. Spaces are limited (50 places noted). Organisers list mandatory kit requirements and note that personal insurance and travel are not included.
