Event Information
The Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, 6 December 2026. The event hub opens at 7:30 AM. There is a finish line cut-off at 1:00 PM.
The Course
The route is a single-lap, traffic-free course that goes anti-clockwise around Milton Keynes. It is described as flat and fast, passing along the Grand Union Canal and through linear parks such as Linford Manor. The start and finish location is Willen Lake Showground, beside the Observation Wheel.
Included Amenities
All finishers receive a metal medal. Optional long-sleeved finisher t-shirts are available for purchase. Aid stations are provided every 3 miles. The event offers fully marked routes, marshal and medical support, chip timing, online results, professional photography, a bag drop, and additional toilets on the route.
Logistics
Parking is available at and around Willen Lake, with fees applying. Race packs can be collected in advance from a local running store or posted to participants. The event is UKA licensed and AIMS measured, making it a certified course. It can be used as a qualifying result for London Marathon Good For Age entry, provided runners also have a qualifying time from the TCS London Marathon MyWay virtual event. Headphones are not permitted under UKA rules, except for bone conduction models.
Participation
The event has 3,000 spaces. The minimum age to participate is 17. A limited number of free or discounted elite entry places are available for runners with specific qualifying times. Volunteers are also sought for the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
