The Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon takes place on 6 December 2026 at Willen Lake, MK15 0DS, Milton Keynes. The event is organised by BCS Events and is a 13.1 Miles road race.
Course and certification
The race is a single-lap, traffic-free, anti-clockwise route around Milton Keynes. The route follows the Grand Union Canal and returns via the city’s linear parks. The course has been officially measured by AUCKM and holds a UKA licence. It is not AIMS certified. The UKA licence means results can be used to qualify for the London Marathon.
Facilities and entry
All finishers receive a metal medal. Long-sleeve finisher T-shirts are available to purchase as optional extras. The event offers chip timing with online results, aid stations approximately every 3 miles, a secure bag drop, toilets (including at 6 miles), medical support on course, course marshals, pacers, and marked route features. Entry pricing is tiered: first 250 entries at £27 plus fee, then rising through bands up to £35 plus fee for later entries. Registration opens 6 December 2026.
