The Milton Keynes Winter Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 7 December 2025 at Willen Lake, Milton Keynes (MK15 0DS). The event distance is 13.1 miles. Registration closes on 2 November 2025 at 23:59. Entry prices vary by entry batch, starting at £27.00 + fee for the first 250 entries and rising in stages to £35.00 + fee for later entries.
Course, services and rules
The route is a single-lap, traffic-free, anti-clockwise course that passes the Grand Union Canal, linear parks and Willen Lake. The course is officially measured and holds a UKA licence; in-person half marathon results from this event can be used as the certified in-person time required for London Marathon Good For Age entry when the performance meets the qualifying time and period. The organiser states chips will be used for timing and online results will be published.
On-course provision includes aid stations approximately every 3 miles, additional toilets (one noted at 6 miles), medical support, fully marked route, marshals, pacers and a secure bag drop. All finishers receive a metal medal; a long-sleeved finisher T-shirt is available as an optional extra (early orders may be posted). Minimum age to compete is 17 and there is a race cut-off at 1pm. Race packs may be collected from Up & Running Milton Keynes or posted out approximately three weeks before the event. Parking at Willen Lake is available with fees.
