Runaway Racing Invitational 10K
The Runaway Racing Invitational 10K is an end of season trail running championship held on 6 December 2026 at Wendover Woods in Buckinghamshire. The race is organised by Runaway Racing and is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UKA rules.
Entry is restricted to runners who finish within the top 20% at Runaway Racing events in 2026, all age category winners and event volunteers. Invitations are issued to qualifying runners after each race. General registration opens on 20 April 2026. The entry fee is £25 or £23 for UKA affiliated runners. The minimum age is 16 and the field is capped at 200 runners.
The course distance is 10 km with about 295 m of elevation. The route is on trail terrain and includes climbs and long descents. The course is fully marked with orange arrow markers and ribbons and marshals will be positioned at key turning points. Chip timing with live results is provided and a bag drop is available.
Wendover is the nearest train station and it is around 2.5 km from the station to the event base. A GPX file of the route is available and carrying a map or GPX is recommended but not required.
Prizes include overall trophies for first male and female and awards for second, third and age category winners. The withdrawal policy issues 90 percent credit for cancellations made more than four weeks before the race, usable for 12 months. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
