ZooRun 2026
ZooRun 2026 takes place at Zoo Miami on November 14, 2026. The event offers multiple race formats and a virtual option, with proceeds supporting the Zoo Miami Foundation's conservation and education programs.
The race program includes:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K
- 5K
- ZooKidsDash
- Virtual 5K/10K
The inaugural Half Marathon covers the full 10K and 5K routes plus an additional seven miles through Zoo Miami's Pine Rocklands and the park outer perimeter. The extended section includes hybrid terrain with paved pathways and natural unpaved surfaces. Half Marathon registration is limited and subject to course cutoff rules.
Registered participants in the ZooKidsDash, 5K, and 10K receive race-day entry to Zoo Miami (valid after the race with bib), discounted admission for friends and family, a themed race shirt, a finisher medal, and access to the Finish Festival and Beer Garden. Virtual 5K/10K participants may complete the distance anywhere between November 9 and 14, submit timed results online, and will receive a mailed finisher medal.
Packet pickup is scheduled November 11–13 at Go Run Miami; late registrants may pick up packets on race day. Strollers are permitted only in the 5K within the Tortoise corral. Transactions are final and refunds are not issued; race management may postpone, cancel, or alter the event for safety or other uncontrollable circumstances.
