Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each category. Categories are in ten-year bands: 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 and over. Awards are presented immediately after finishing and must be picked up at the event.
The event is family friendly. Minors are allowed and non-alcoholic drinks and food are served. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground; children in strollers participate for free and do not need to register. Pets are welcome on a leash but are not allowed inside the tasting room.
