Zion Half Marathon : Springdale, Utah
The Zion Half Marathon is a paved, point-to-point road race that starts in Virgin, Utah and finishes in front of Cable Mountain Lodge in Springdale near the south entrance of Zion National Park. The course follows SR-9 and a paved trail alongside the Virgin River, with a steady uphill profile and only two major turns. The route uses wide pavement and a parallel bike path for most of the distance.

The event operates on a 4 hour time limit (about 18 minutes per mile). It provides shuttle access from Springdale and La Verkin to the start; there is no start line parking and the start is drop-off only. The race is cup-free: runners must use reusable bottles, a Nathan reusable cup, or a hydration pack. There are five aid stations spaced roughly every two miles (near miles 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11); aid station #1 (near mile 3) is the official clothing drop and aid station #3 has a medic on site. The course is listed as accessible to strollers and wheelchairs.
