Zion Ultras : Apple Valley, UT
Zion Ultras is a multi-distance trail event held April 10-11, 2027, with start and finish at Ruby Rider Ranch / Smithsonian Butte in Apple Valley, Utah. Courses run across high-desert mesas and link singletrack, slickrock, and exposed desert trails.

Routes include long sustained climbs, narrow rim sections, and technical footing with sections of rocky singletrack and slickrock. The course provides extended sightlines to Zion sandstone features such as West Temple, The Watchman, and the Virgin River canyon. Navigation is on marked, closed trails; deviations may result in penalties.
Aid stations are fully stocked with electrolytes, hydration mixes, gels, fresh fruit, a variety of salty and sweet foods, soda, and portable restrooms. Later stations offer hot items such as quesadillas, ramen, broth, grilled sandwiches, bacon, and pancakes. Medical personnel are stationed at major aid stations and mobile medical vehicles operate on course.
Crew is permitted for 60K, 100K, and 100 Mile runners; pacers are allowed for 100K and 100 Mile runners only. Drop bags are permitted for longer distances under specified size and labeling rules and must be left by the designated time the night before the race. The event is cupless for cold drinks; runners must carry a personal bottle or cup. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
