The Zintel Canyon 4K takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Kennewick, Washington. The event is the 10th annual run on the Spirit of America Trail. The distance is 4 km (2.5 miles). Registration costs $25 and includes a T-shirt. The race is not chip timed; organizers will manually record finish times and post results. Registration opens December 29, 2025.
Course and proceeds
The course follows the Spirit of America Trail, with the trailhead near 7th and Vancouver and a turnaround near 24th and Ely. The trail surface includes paved, gravel, and dirt sections. The route gains 85 ft in elevation over the 1.25 miles from the trailhead to the turnaround; the return on the same trail is gradually downhill. Proceeds from the run will support summer activities for Tri-Cities youth through Prayer Watch Christian Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
