Event details

The Zintel Canyon 4K takes place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in Kennewick, Washington. This is the 10th annual running of the event. Entry fee is $25 and the registration includes a T-shirt. The event lists 100 spots remaining and registration closes on June 26, 2026.

Course

The event is a 4 km (2.5 mile) out-and-back run on the Spirit of America Trail in Zintel Canyon. The trail surface includes paved, gravel, and dirt sections. The route is gradually uphill on the outbound leg, gaining 85 ft over about 1.25 miles from the trailhead near 7th and Vancouver to the turnaround near 24th and Ely, and gradually downhill on the return.

Timing and results

The race is not chip timed. Organizers will manually record finish times and post results.

Proceeds

Proceeds from the run will be used to support summer activities for Tri-Cities youth through Prayer Watch Christian Center. Sponsors are acknowledged for supporting the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
