About the race
The Windmill Way Wander, organized by Zig Zag Running, is a versatile road running event held at the Suffolk Running Centre in Bury St Edmunds, UK. Participants can choose from multiple distances including 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, and ultra marathon, all following the scenic Windmill Way route. The course features rolling hills with about 600 feet of elevation and passes through charming villages such as Higham, Gazeley, Ashley, Dalham, and Denham, with views of Dalham Hall and the Dalham windmill.
Aid stations with drinks and snacks are available every 10k. The event promotes a social atmosphere with out-and-back routes for shorter distances and includes parking and bespoke finisher medals.
