Ickworth Sunset Chase : event overview
Ickworth Sunset Chase is a trail running event held at Ickworth Park, a National Trust estate near The Rotunda, Horringer, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (IP29 5QE). The event date is 4th September 2026. The course is multi terrain and includes a new limestone path, footpaths, woodland and meadows set in rolling countryside. The race is chip timed and provides a finisher medal; first aid is available on site. Entrants must carry a torch for their own safety. The organisers state that appropriate grippy footwear is essential given the varied terrain.

Logistics, rules and results
Entry fee is £27 (£25 attached); an additional £2 fee applies to runners who are not attached to a club, to conform with UK Athletics rules. Age limits: 10k entrants must be at least 16 years old on race day; 5k entrants must be at least 12. Registration takes place at race headquarters close to the start; race numbers and chips must be collected at the desk and will not be posted. Parking is free (200 yards) and cars are parked at owners' risk. The organisers use British Athletics rules for winners. The 10k is recorded by chip timing; results will be uploaded afterwards.
