Ickworth Sunset Chase
The Ickworth Sunset Chase is a trail running event on 4 September 2026 at Ickworth Park, a National Trust estate near Horringer, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (The Rotunda, IP29 5QE). The event is chip timed and provides a finisher medal and first aid cover. Race headquarters and the start/finish are located close to the event arena and are marked by an inflatable gantry.

Course, entry and rules
The course is multi terrain and includes a new limestone path, stretches of footpaths, woodland and meadows within rolling countryside. The event is cupless: no paper cups are provided, but fresh drinking water is available for refilling bottles. All finishers receive a medal and the top three male and female finishers receive trophies.
Entrants must be age 16 or over for the 10 km and age 12 or over for the 5 km. Entry fee is listed as £27 (£25 for attached club runners); an additional £2 fee applies to non attached club runners to conform to UK Athletics rules. Race numbers and chips must be collected at registration on race day and will not be posted.
Parking is free; vehicles are parked at owners’ risk. Competitors are asked to carry a torch for safety. Results for the 10 km are recorded by chip timing contracted to a third party; organisers do not accept responsibility for equipment failure and recorded times are final. The event operates under a race permit (6990) and entrants take part at their own risk and must agree to the event terms. Photographs and video may be used by the organisers and sponsors.
