Event Details
The Ickworth Sunset Chase takes place in Ickworth Park, a National Trust country estate. The course follows trails through landscaped parkland, meadows, and forest, offering views across the estate. A limestone path provides a stable surface underfoot.
The event features 5k and 10k distances, both chip-timed. All finishers receive a medal, and trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each race. It is a cupless event; water is available for refilling bottles, but no cups are provided.
Requirements and Logistics
Registration opens at the race start location. Race numbers and timing chips are collected there; they are not mailed in advance. Medical assistance is available on-site, but participants enter at their own risk. Entrants must be at least 16 years old for the 10k and at least 12 years old for the 5k.
