The Ickworth Sunset Chase is a trail running event at Ickworth Park, a National Trust country estate near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The race date is 4th September 2026. Distances offered:

Entry fee is listed as £27 (£25 for attached club runners). An additional £2 fee applies to entrants who are not attached to a club, to conform to UK Athletics rules. Age limits apply: entrants must be at least 16 years old for the 10 km and at least 12 years old for the 5 km. The event is chip timed, provides a finisher medal to all finishers, awards trophies to the top three male and female finishers, and has first aid provision. Course and logistics
The route is multi-terrain and includes a new limestone path, footpaths, woodland and meadows across the estate. The event is a cupless race; fresh drinking water will be available for bottle refills but no cups are provided. Parking at the venue is free; the race headquarters is near the start and the start/finish is marked by an inflatable gantry. The 10 km times are recorded by a third-party chip timing company; organisers note that they cannot accept responsibility for timing equipment failure and that recorded times are final. The event operates under a race permit (6990) and entrants take part at their own risk. Grippy footwear is recommended and medical assistance will be available.
