Event

The Lucky Clover is scheduled for 22 August 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running. Entry is limited to a maximum of 100 entrants and open to people aged 18 and over on the event date. Entries close on 21 August 2026. There is a seven-hour cut off for participants. Entry prices range from about £29 to £38 depending on distance and medal option. Participants receive a bespoke event medal or, for some categories, a lucky-dip finisher medal.

Course and facilities

The course uses a half marathon loop; a full marathon is two loops of that route. The 5k and 10k use the Goldings Hill route as an out and back. The surface is road and pavement, mainly flat with a few rises. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided approximately every 10 km and at Race HQ/Base Camp. Race HQ is located at the start and lap point. Parking is included in the entry price. The event has gone cupless, so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling.
