Event
The Lucky Clover is scheduled for 22 August 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running. It offers multiple fixed-distance options and uses a mass start format with a seven-hour cut off. Maximum entrants are 100. Entries close on 21 August 2026. Transfers close on 14 August 2026. Minimum age to enter is 18 years. Entry fees and options include bespoke event medals and "lucky dip" finisher medals, with listed prices between £29 and £38.
Course and facilities
Distances are run on road and pavement, mainly flat with a few rises.
- 5k - Goldings Hill route, out-and-back
- 10k - Goldings Hill route, out-and-back
- Half - Clover Half marathon loop
- Marathon - two laps of the Clover Half loop
- Ultra - fixed distance option using the event routes
Aid stations offering drinks and nibbles will be provided approximately every 10 km. The Race HQ / Base Camp is at the start and lap point and includes an aid station. Parking is included in the entry price. The event is cupless, so participants are asked to bring their own bottles or cups for refilling.
