Event details
The Lucky Clover takes place on Saturday, 22 August 2026 at Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event has a maximum of 100 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, and a seven-hour cut off. Entries close on 21/08/2026 and transfer of entries closes on 14/08/2026. Parking is included in the entry price. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal or, where available, a "lucky dip" finisher medal from previous events.
Course and facilities
Distances offered:
- 5k - out-and-back using the Goldings Hill route
- 10k - out-and-back using the Goldings Hill route
- Half Marathon - Clover half marathon loop
- Marathon - two laps of the Clover half marathon loop
- Ultra - fixed distance option
The course is on road and pavement and is described as mainly flat with a few rises. Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are provided at Race HQ/Base Camp and approximately every 10 km.
