Valley of the Owls Run
The Valley of the Owls Run is held at the Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event uses named routes through the village of Ousden and surrounding countryside, with a mix of quiet country lanes and trail sections.

Route summaries The Dalham Kiln route is a 21.4 km loop with about 88% road and 12% trail, 191 m of climb, high 123 m / low 49 m. The Denham Flats route is a 10.4 km out-and-back, 100% road, about 22 m of climb, high 107 m / low 89 m. Runners under half-marathon distance use an out-and-back configuration and are turned around for the return leg. A GPX file is available from the course tab for navigation.
Event facilities and rules Aid stations with drinks and nibbles are placed approximately every 10 km. Parking is included in the entry price and the Race HQ / Base Camp is at the start and lap point with a water/aid station. The event is cupless so participants must bring their own bottles or cups. Only bone conductor headphones are allowed. Dogs and buggies are not permitted on the route. There is a seven-hour cut off. A bespoke event medal is provided to finishers, with a lucky dip finisher option when available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
