Remembrance Run - Ferry Meadows, Peterborough
Remembrance Run is a timed multi terrain event held at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, near Peterborough. The event offers two timed formats so participants run as many laps as they can within their chosen time limit. The course is a lap of 5.3 km that follows park footpaths and grass sections, consisting mainly of gravel tracks and some grassy stretches.
Support and logistics are provided from a central Race HQ located at the Lakeside Centre on the watersports side of the park, with gazebos visible from the car park. Registration is based at the Lakeside Centre and bibs are collected on the day. An aid station is provided on each lap. The event is cupless so participants should bring their own bottle or cup for refills.
The format suits runners aiming for a range of official distances by completing laps, including 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon and longer ultramarathon totals where time allows. A bespoke event medal is available to finishers unless a generic finisher medal option has been selected. Virtual entries are offered for those unable to attend in person. Parking at Ferry Meadows is chargeable and there is no secure baggage storage on site. The event has a maximum field size of 300 and is open to entrants aged 18 and over.
