The Birthday Run is organised by Zig Zag Running and takes place on 17 May 2026 at Billingford Lakes and Country Park, NR20 4RG. The event is limited to 300 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 16 May 2026.

Course and facilities
The course is a mix of tarmac paths, grassland and rugged trails and is described as mainly flat with a few rises. The half marathon is normally run as 5 laps with the option to change to 6 or 7 laps on the day. The ultra is normally 9 laps with the option to increase up to 12 laps according to time available.
An aid station will be located at base camp for refilling. Parking is included with entry. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; a Lucky Dip option is available to receive a previous event medal. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own cup or bottle for refilling. Complimentary coffee and cake are provided after finishing.
