Event
The Birthday Run takes place on 17 May 2026 at Billingford Lakes and Country Park, NR20 4RG. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running to mark its sixth anniversary. Complimentary coffee and cake are provided at the finish. Maximum entrants are 300 and entries close on 16 May 2026.
Course and facilities
The course is mixed-surface, including trail sections, tarmac paths, grassland and some road/pavement, described as mainly flat with a few rises. An aid station is located at base camp. The event is cupless - participants should bring their own cup or bottle for refills. Parking is included with race entry. All finishers receive a bespoke event medal; a "Lucky Dip" medal option is available for some distances.

- 5k : entrants aged 14+, price £27–£29.
- 10k : entrants aged 17+, price £27–£29.
- 15k : entrants aged 18+, price £34–£36.
- Half marathon : entrants aged 18+, price £34–£36.
- Heavy half marathon : entrants aged 18+, standard 5 laps, price £36–£38.
- Marathon : entrants aged 18+, price £36–£38.
- Ultra marathon : entrants aged 18+, standard 9 laps, option to increase, price £36–£38.
