Zig Zag Running stages The Birthday Run on 17 May 2026 at Billingford Lakes and Country Park, NR20 4RG. The event has a maximum of 300 entrants, a minimum age of 18 years, and entries close on 16/05/2026. Transfers close on 10/05/2026. Parking is included in the race entry. An aid station is located at base camp. The event is cupless - participants should bring their own cup or bottle for refills. All finishers receive a bespoke medal; a Lucky Dip option may allocate a previous event medal. Finishers are offered a complimentary coffee and cake.

The route is a mix of tarmac paths, grasslands, and rugged trails. The profile is mainly flat with a few rises. A heavy half marathon is normally 5 laps with the option to change to 6 or 7 laps on the day. The ultra is normally 9 laps with the option to increase up to 12 laps depending on time available.
