Thetford 5K Santa Run
The Thetford 5K Santa Run takes place at Thetford Guildhall in Thetford's historic Market Place on Sunday 13 December 2026. The event is a 5K run in and around Thetford, with the course starting and finishing at the Guildhall.
Participants are encouraged to wear festive fancy dress; there will be prizes for the best outfits. Medals are awarded to all finishers. At the finish there will be free tea, coffee, squash and mince pies.
On-the-day registration is available. There is plenty of free parking nearby. Ticket prices, including booking fee, range from £5.75 to £11.05.
The event is presented as family friendly: there is no cut off time and the course is suitable for single running buggies. Children may take part but must remain within arm’s reach of a responsible adult at all times; all children are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
The route uses mostly pavements, with a few road crossings and some short off road sections. Participants are asked not to use headphones. The event is organised in association with Thetford Town Council. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
