ZigZag - Thetford Festival of Running

Zig Zag’s Thetford Festival of Running takes place at High Lodge in Thetford Forest, Brandon (IP27 0AF). Runners choose from 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon or ultra, all on a largely flat loop through the forest with a small section of trails and woodland (final route to be confirmed). The event aims for an intimate feel with exclusive use of the main area and plenty of space, plus a lap-based water/aid point.

Oak Lodge hosts registration and post-race teas, coffee and cake, and finishers receive a bespoke medal or may opt for a previous medal lucky dip. It’s cupless, with 20% of fees aiding forest upkeep, and a six-hour cap (four hours for later starts). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
