Event details

The Thetford Festival of Running takes place on 22 February 2026 at High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Brandon, IP27 0AF. The event is organised by Zig Zag Running and has a maximum of 300 entrants. Entries close on 21 February 2026. Entry fees vary by distance and medal option, generally ranging from £27 to £38. The organiser states a six-hour event cut off, with a four-hour cut off applying for later starts. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own cups or bottles. Twenty percent of each entry fee is donated to the upkeep of the forest.

Course and facilities

The route uses a 5 km loop within Thetford Forest and will include mainly pathways with a small section of trails and woodland; the final route is listed as TBC. A water and aid station will be located at the lap point. Oak Lodge will be used for registration and for providing complimentary teas, coffee and cake after the event.
