Event Overview
The Zen Squirrel Trail Run takes place in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This trail race is held within Briar Chapel, a green community spanning over 900 acres. Participants run on a variety of terrain including single-track trails with rocks and roots, smooth dirt paths, and hills. The event starts and finishes at Great Meadow Park, which features a lawn, a stage, and a pavilion.

The Briar Chapel location contains a network of more than 20 miles of forested trails intended for hiking and mountain biking. After the distances are completed, the event hosts post-race food and music at the park. There is also an awards ceremony that includes contests and giveaways.
