The BIG Run : Cary, NC
The BIG Run is a free, untimed community 5K held on June 14, 2026, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. The event marks Global Running Day and celebrates Fleet Feet's 50th anniversary along with the 20th anniversary of the Raleigh/Morrisville franchise. Registration opens March 24, 2026, and closes June 13, 2026; the registration fee is $0.00.
The course follows WakeMed Soccer Park's cross country layout and is mostly grass and dirt. This is a celebratory fun run with no official timing or race results. Dogs are not allowed on the park grounds or the course.
Event features listed by the organizer include finisher medals for the first 500 registrants who check in and attend, a random giveaway of five Brooks shoes for eligible participants, a vendor expo with shoe demos and merchandise, food and coffee trucks for pre- and post-run fuel, and post-run activities such as yoga and a cold plunge.
