Zanesville City Half Marathon
The Zanesville City Half Marathon takes place on September 26, 2026, in Zanesville, Ohio. The event program includes two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 5K
Both events begin in downtown Zanesville. The half marathon follows a new route through the city, beginning and ending downtown, with a total course elevation change of 414 ft and the course open for 3.5 hours. The 5K also starts in downtown and has a new route and turn-by-turn instructions available.
All finishers in both events receive a custom finisher medal and a premium race T-shirt. Finish-line food and beverages are provided. Overall and age-group awards are offered for both the half marathon and the 5K; overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers based on gun time. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in these categories: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Packet pickup is available before race day at The Downtown Exchange and on race morning at Secrest Auditorium. Entry fees differ by registration date and are non-refundable if the event converts to a virtual format due to inability to hold an in-person race.
