Event Overview
The sixth annual Zanesville City Half Marathon takes place in Zanesville, Ohio. This timed competitive event features two distinct distances through the city, beginning and ending in the downtown area. The race highlights historic scenery and local hospitality, providing participants with a route that traverses the urban landscape.
The available distances include:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile course with a total elevation change of 414 feet.
- 5k: A 3.1 mile course beginning in downtown Zanesville.
Participant Information
The half marathon course remains open for 3.5 hours. All participants who finish their respective races receive a custom finishers medal and a premium race tee. Post-race recovery snacks and beverages are provided at the finish line. Registration includes timing services, with results available immediately via text, email, or on-site kiosks.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are presented for both race distances. The top three overall male and female finishers are recognized based on gun time. Additionally, age group awards are issued to the top three male and female participants in categories ranging from 14 and under up to 70 and older.
Logistics
Race packet pickup is available on the Friday prior to the event at the Downtown Exchange on Main Street, or on the morning of the race at Secrest Auditorium on Shinnick Street.
