Event overview
The Killing Tree Wine Run 5k is a chip-timed 5-kilometre run/walk held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Killing Tree Winery in Dresden, Ohio (16688 CR-4, Dresden, OH 43821). The event is timed and scored by a professional timing company and results will be posted online. Registration is open to a wide age range.
Course and logistics
The course is a two-loop route that begins and ends at the winery. It is held on trail terrain with hills. Participants may stop after one lap and go directly to the finish area. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. Strollers are allowed but not recommended because of uneven ground. Walking is permitted.
Registration and race items
Standard registration items include a ring-spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a wine glass shaped finisher medal, a chip-timed race bib, and a postrace pour of wine for eligible participants. Minors receive a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib but they do not receive a wine glass or a wine pour.
