Killing Tree Wine Run 5k
The Killing Tree Wine Run 5 km is scheduled for April 26, 2026 at Killing Tree Winery in Dresden, Ohio. The event is chip timed and results are posted online by J3 Timing.
Registration includes a soft ring spun cotton t shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that also serves as a wine stopper, a chip timed race bib, online results and a pour of wine. The winery will offer breakfast and specialty drinks for additional cost during the morning. Free race photos are available for download after the event.
The course begins and ends at the winery and uses two loops on farm trails that include hilly sections. Participants may stop after one lap and proceed to the finish area. Walking is allowed. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate without registering. Dogs are not allowed on site due to farm rules.
Top three finishers male and female in each age group receive custom age group awards. Age groups are divided in roughly ten year spans, for example 1 to 9, 10 to 19, 20 to 29, and so on through 80 and over. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available and packets can be shipped for an additional handling fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
