Trail Running at Dillon State Park

Ragnar Trail Individual Ohio takes place at Dillon State Park in Nashport, Ohio. The event features a variety of trail types, including flat grass birding trails and technical single-track mountain bike trails. Most paths are situated within a dense forest that provides shade, while some sections navigate slopes leading into the Dillon Reservoir. Participants can observe views of Dillon Lake and the Licking River through the trees.

The event offers several race formats for individual runners:

  • Single Loop: A 5.3 mile course on the Yellow Loop with 866 feet of elevation gain.
  • 6H Ultra: A timed race where runners complete as many loops as possible within 6 hours.
  • 24H Ultra: A timed race where runners complete as many loops as possible within 24 hours.

The 6H and 24H Ultra distances utilize a total course network of 15.3 miles with a total course elevation gain of 2,238 feet.

The venue, located near Zanesville, includes a hub known as Ragnar Village. On-site amenities include camping areas with beachfront sites, glamping options, cabins, and RV spots. The festival atmosphere features bonfires, music, yoga, and movie screenings. Participants receive a finisher shirt, a finisher medal, and partner samples.
