Hampton Homecoming 5K
The 12th annual 5K takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Matteson Trail in Hampton, Virginia. The event is organized by Oh Let's Yusuf Scholarship and is presented as an in-person community run that marks the end of a homecoming weekend.
The 5K serves as a platform to celebrate the life and memory of a friend, classmate, and brother. It supports the Hillside to Hampton Scholarship for incoming freshmen; the Oh Let's Yusuf Foundation was established four years ago and the scholarship has awarded recipients since 2024. A current scholarship recipient will be on site to receive their award.
Logistics noted by the organizer include free parking available at the Hampton Roads Golf Course, an all ages format, and that the run will take place regardless of weather.
