Race Information
The US Road Running Williamsburg event features three distinct distances on an out-and-back course. Participants can choose between the 5K, 10K, or the Half Marathon. All participants must complete bridge registration via the RunSignup platform, as no on-site registration is available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the event site during a specific window shortly before the start.
Course Details
The event utilizes out-and-back routes starting from the bus loop at Lois Hornsby Middle School. Each distance involves different repetitions of the designated loops:
- 5K: One out-and-back lap.
- 10K: Two out-and-back laps.
- Half Marathon: Four out-and-back laps.
The course has a set time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Location and Logistics
The event begins at the Lois Hornsby Middle School bus loop. All participants must use the school parking lot and follow the sidewalk to reach the starting area. In addition to the race, participants are eligible for finisher medals. There is also an option for runners to participate in a best costume contest.
