YTRRC Summer 5k Series 2026 (Race 1)
The event is a six‑race 5 km series with an accompanying children's fun run. The six races take place on 8 April, 13 May, 10 June, 8 July, 12 August and 9 September 2026, held on the second Wednesday of each month between April and September. Spot prizes and age category prizes are awarded; age for prizes is based on age on 1 April 2026.
The course is described as fast and flat with potential for personal bests. Water is provided at the finish. Full refreshments are available before and after each race at Race HQ, with donations accepted by cash or card/phone. The Nuffield Centre at RNAS Yeovilton has a large car park near the event and there is no formal bag drop. Wheelchairs are not permitted because the course runs on roads with many potholes.
Race numbers issued at the first race must be brought to every series race; numbers will not be posted out and should be collected at the event. Results are published on the Timing Monkey website after the last runner finishes. Entry fees vary by affiliation and by timing of entry: online single race entries are £10 affiliated and £12 unaffiliated, on the day entries are £12 affiliated and £14 unaffiliated. Series prices for all six races are £55 affiliated and £67 unaffiliated. No refunds or transfers are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
