London Calling
London Calling is a mixed terrain running event on the North Dorset Trailway near Shillingstone, Blandford Forum. The route runs out and back along the trailway with views of Hambledon Hill and the River Stour and passes Shillingstone Station.
The event offers flexible distance options. Laps are 5.3 km / 3.28 miles each and participants may choose distances from short runs up to ultra-marathon distances. All finishers of one lap or more receive a medal.
On-the-day arrangements include number pick-up at race registration before starting, toilets at the start and finish area, and an aid and drinks station at the start and finish of each lap stocked with savoury and sweet items. There is an area to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups so participants should bring their own.
Parking is available at a cost of £6 per car; entrants should bring proof of payment on event day. The event is hosted in partnership with the Big Yellow Bus Garden Project and donations may be made when entering or on the day. Final instructions are sent by email before the event.
Please note that, under UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
