Event overview

London Calling is an event organised by Long Player Running on 26 April 2026 at Blandford Rd, Shillingstone, Blandford Forum DT11 0SQ. The route uses the North Dorset Trailway and is an out-and-back course that passes Hambledon Hill, the River Stour and Shillingstone Station. The terrain is mixed. Laps measure 5.3 km / 3.28 miles.

Race details

Participants may choose distances from short runs up to ultra-marathon distances. All finishers of one lap or more will receive a medal. Aid and drinks stations will be located at the start/finish of each lap with savoury and sweet items. An area will be available to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Toilets are available at the start/finish area. Race numbers are collected on the day at registration. Final instructions will be sent by email before the event.

Open to entrants aged 18 and over on 26/04/2026. Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under under UK Athletics rules. The event holds TRA licence number 7550. Parking will be available at Eastbrook Farm near the start/finish. The nearest train station is Gillingham, about 12 miles away.
