Event overview
London Calling is a mixed-terrain running event on the North Dorset Trailway near Blandford Forum, taking runners past Shillingstone Station and offering views of Hambledon Hill and the River Stour. The course is an out-and-back lap of 5.3 km / 3.28 miles. Participants may choose their own distance, ranging from 5K up to ultra-marathon distance. All finishers of one lap or more receive a medal. The event holds TRA licence number 7550.
Course, facilities and access
There is an aid and drinks station at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of savoury and sweet items. An area is provided to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Toilets are available at the start/finish area and number pick-up takes place on the day at race registration. Parking is available at Eastbrook Farm near the start/finish. The nearest train station is Gillingham, about 12 miles away. Per UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under.
