Event overview
Long Player Running presents "London Calling" on 26 April 2026 at Blandford Rd, Shillingstone, Blandford Forum DT11 0SQ. The event is an out-and-back format on the North Dorset Trailway, passing Shillingstone Station and offering views of Hambledon Hill and the River Stour. Laps are 5.3 km / 3.28 mile in length. Entry fees are shown between £37.50 and £39.50. The event holds TRA License Number 7550.
Course and logistics
The surface is mixed terrain along the trailway. Participants may choose their own distance selection:
- 5K to ultra-marathon
All finishers of one lap or more receive a medal. Number pick-up is on the day at race registration before starting. An aid and drinks station will be available at the start/finish of each lap, offering savoury and sweet items. There is also an area to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Toilets are available at the start/finish area.
Parking will be available at Eastbrook Farm near the start/finish with a charge; parking and payment details will be issued later. The nearest train station listed is Gillingham, about 12 miles away. The event partners with the Big Yellow Bus Garden Project, which is hosting the start/finish and will receive donations.
