Course, purpose and extras
The course is described as mostly flat through Dayton neighborhoods with a moderate hill around mile 2. The race begins and ends at Courthouse Square Park in downtown Dayton, near local shops and restaurants. YRun Dayton is a Dayton school district sponsored club whose mission is to bring communities together through movement. All race proceeds will help fund K-12 running programs in the Dayton school district. Every race participant will receive, while supplies last, a free performance race T-shirt; specific sizes cannot be guaranteed. Raffle prizes and the race T-shirt design are to be announced in 2026.
