Pit Stops are placed along the course and offer water, hot drinks, salty snacks, sweets and fruit; participants are advised to carry at least 400 kcal of personal emergency nutrition.
Cut offs are applied at a 3 mph pace. Key points on the route include Pit Stop 1 at 6.7 miles, Pit Stop 2 at 12.6 miles and Pit Stop 3 at 20.8 miles, with the finish at 29.2 miles. Participants who miss the cut off at Pit Stop 2 may take an alternate shorter route to the summit covering about 20.5 miles with 5175 ft of ascent.
