Young's Jersey Dairy Cheddar Challenge 5k
The Cheddar Challenge 5K takes place at Young's Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, Ohio on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The event features a 3.1 mile course that runs across farmland surrounding the dairy, includes a loop through Young's Christmas Tree Farm, and passes through the original barn built in 1869. The course is open to both runners and walkers.
Participants who register by May 16 are guaranteed a t-shirt, and all finishers will receive a finisher item. Those who register after May 16 are not guaranteed a shirt or medal. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on race day, and day of registration is offered.
The event benefits several organizations: Alzheimer’s Association, Breakthrough T1D, South Community Behavioral Health, and United Rehabilitation Services. After the event, attendees may access Young's Farmstead facilities located at the dairy.
