Thanksgiving Day Fountain 5k
The Thanksgiving Day Fountain 5k is scheduled for November 26, 2026 in Springfield, Ohio. The event is the 18th edition and is organized to raise proceeds for Clark County Special Olympics. The race uses a new 5k route on Fountain Boulevard and will be chip timed, with results provided by Finishtiming.
This year features a single timed 5k Run/Walk with awards for the top three male and top three female finishers and additional age group awards. Age groups are 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Registration opens August 27, 2026 and closes November 6, 2026. The fee is $35 through November 6 and includes a t-shirt, a finisher glass, and a special gift for those among the first 500 registrants. Registrations after November 6 are $40 with no shirt guarantee; the finisher glass and the special gift remain subject to availability for the first 500 registrants.
Packet pickup and race registration are at Springfield Health and Fitness, 202 N. Limestone Street, Springfield, OH 45503. There will be no race-day registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
