The Yosemite Half Marathon is a Half Marathon (13.1 miles) held May 9, 2026, at Bass Lake, California. The point-to-point course mixes paved road and packed dirt trail with a reported elevation gain of 449 feet and a maximum elevation of 5,448 feet. The course has a 4-hour time limit (about 18.5 minutes per mile). Aid stations are cup-free; the course will have about five stations offering water, electrolyte drink, gels, toilets and basic first aid, and a medic will be stationed at the finish. Place and finisher medals are awarded, with overall and age-group awards for multiple categories.

Course and logistics

  • First 5 miles - packed dirt trail through the pines of the Sierra National Forest.
  • Miles 6-10 - fast downhill on a wide paved road.
  • Final 3 miles - N Shore Road loop around Bass Lake, finishing on a dirt trail.

The race finishes at Recreation Point Campground on Bass Lake, which is also the site of the race expo and a Vacation Races campground. Shuttle service runs between Oakhurst locations and Bass Lake pickup points; parking is limited near Bass Lake and additional parking with shuttle access is available in Oakhurst. The event uses a timed-entry system for Yosemite National Park on some days; participants should plan park visits accordingly.
